What are the private dining rooms like at Occidental Grill & Seafood?

The four private dining rooms at Occidental Grill & Seafood continue the clubby, dark wood-accented look of the main dining room at the steak house at Willard InterContinental in Washington, D.C.
The largest private room is the Monument Room, located on the second floor directly above the main dining area. It can accommodate 90 to 130 guests for a banquet-style dinner, or up to 250 for a cocktail reception (this option includes the adjacent Truman bar). The monument room has wall-to-wall windows overlooking Pennsylvania Avenue, recessed ceilings, and dark wood paneling and pillars. The walls are lined with photos of famous names and presidents who have dined in the 100-year-old restaurant.
Also on the second floor are two Presidential Rooms, each able to seat up to 25 for a banquet-style dinner, or 150 for a cocktail reception (including the Truman bar). Both are done in honey-colored wood paneling that’s accented by golden-framed portraits of presidents. These rooms can also be combined into a single space that seats 60 for a banquet-style dinner.
On the first floor, the Wine Room is a mahogany-lined room that showcases bottles of wine from the restaurant’s extensive cellar and seats up to 22 guests.
