Since there’s nothing worse than hidden fees and small-print charges that can inflate your hotel bill, the only mandatory charge you need to worry about at The Little Nell is a standard 5-percent resort fee. On top of that, any other fee is optional or at least avoidable. Famous for its pet-friendly Petiquette program, the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel is willing to pamper your pup for an additional $125 for the first night and $25 per night thereafter. While pets are welcome, smokers are not: Light up in your room and it’ll cost you an additional $300.
The Little Nell charges a resort fee. This fee is 5 percent of the room rate and includes local and long distance telephone calls, use of the hotel’s in-town transportation, use of the pool and health facilities, daily newspapers, high-speed wireless Internet access, coffee in the lobby each morning, airport pick-up and drop-off, and use of the hotel business center. We also charge a pet fee where applicable: $100 flat rate, plus $25 per night. The valet parking fee is $28 per night.
