How do I get to The Little Nell from the local airport?

Answers from Our Experts (2)

It’s easy to get to The Little Nell from the airport — because your plane lands only three miles from Aspen’s downtown. While the town is tucked into the Rocky Mountains four hours from Denver (the closest major metropolitan area), it’s convenient to reach by air, thanks to the Aspen-Pitkin County airport, a small commuter hub. Once you touch down on the runway, the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel will send a complimentary car to pick you up — and the hotel will also drop you off at the airport sans charge when it’s time to go home.

The Little Nell provides complimentary transportation to and from the Aspen/Pitken County Airport for our guests. Please provide us with your arrival and flight information so that we may anticipate your arrival and be waiting for you in the arrivals lounge. Guests flying into Denver (DIA) and renting a car will enjoy traveling along one of the most scenic routes in the world as they journey 224 miles over Independence Pass into Aspen. Allow approximately four hours for the trip. In the winter, guests should take Interstate 70 to Glenwood Springs and then Highway 82 into Aspen. Once you arrive, our valet parking attendants will store your vehicle in our heated garage.
