As the name suggests, The Wedding Deck on the summit of Aspen Mountain is a popular location for weddings. It comes with jaw-dropping views of the surrounding mountains, stadium-style seating and a wooden platform that’s built into the side of the mountain to maximize the views of the surrounding mountains and — of course — the bride and groom. There are two reception sites that are also on the summit: The exclusive Aspen Mountain Club, a private dining club, and the Sundeck, the larger summit lodge. Wedding receptions can also be held in any of the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel’s restaurants, bars or meeting rooms.
The Little Nell has an array of locations for weddings, with the most popular being the stunning Wedding Deck atop Aspen Mountain with views of the Rocky Mountains. Many couples choose to marry in the Aspen Mountain Club. Its 7,000 square feet includes a full bar, a spacious living room, two large fireplaces, and a dining room that can seat up to 125 seated guests or 200 for a festive reception. Each event concludes with guests savoring their experience with a 12-minute gondola ride down into the warm lights of downtown Aspen.
