One of the most notorious people-watching spots in Aspen is at the Living Room bar at The Little Nell, especially during the holiday season when it’s a virtual parade of fur and diamonds. With its deep upholstered couches and chairs, the Living Room feels more like home than a hotel or bar. Between the comfortable seating and free entertainment, you might find yourself sitting there for long periods of time. The Terrace Room, meanwhile, caters to the après-ski crowd with cowhide upholstery and a mountain-facing view.
The Little Nell offers several bars, each with its own matchless appeal, individual gourmet themes, and thorough collection of wine, beer and spirits. The Terrace Bar is a casual gathering place with lively atmosphere that’s been recognized as one of the best après ski lounges in the country. Open from 3 p.m. until the party winds down, the Terrace Bar overlooks the hotel’s courtyard and Aspen Mountain and serves an incredible selection of Global tapas culled from native cuisines along the 13th Parallel. The Terrace Bar is open during our winter season. The Living Room is a bright yet cozy space that wraps around our two-sided fireplace with intimate arrangements of comfortable furniture. It’s an ideal spot to enjoy a glass of wine while sampling the bar menu.
