The interior design at Element 47 is sophisticated and sleek, contemporary and comfortable. The room’s main hues are silver, gray, dark brown, black and navy. But you’ll also find occasional pops of bright color, such as the deep red glass water tumblers with an etched design. Semi-circle banquettes have soft leather seats, as do the dark blue chairs clustered around square mahogany tables. Recessed mood lighting changes the feel of the restaurant from morning to evening. Modern, large-scale artwork — again, mostly in silver and gray — adorns the walls while other accents include natural stone, blackened steel and sumptuous wood. Architectural firm Bentel & Bentel designed the restaurant and adjacent bar, which debuted in December 2012 after a $2.5 million renovation.
