Located on the fourth floor of Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore, the gym overlooks the swimming pool and offers a selection of Techno Gym cardio and weight training equipment, including five treadmills, two seated bikes, two spinning bikes, four ellipticals and four wave ellipticals, all of which come with personal televisions. A bounty of windows and mirrors ensures that the space is bright and sunny, and although you won’t see a great selection of reading material (single copies of Baltimore and Condé Nast Traveler were available when we worked out), you will find fresh apples and oranges to snack on and white urns filled with filtered water and lemon-lime Gatorade to keep you hydrated. Low-impact equipment like yoga balls and jump ropes supplement the larger machines, and, of course, you can always get a great workout in the infinity pool. And do make a point of seeking out the locker room in the spa when you’re done exercising. We love nothing more than working up a sweat at the gym and then cooling down in the free-of-use “lifestyle shower” that has six different settings from misting to a cascading waterfall.
