One of our favorite urban hotel swimming pools is at Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore, thanks to its luxurious amenities, great service and a relaxing setting perched above the city’s Inner Harbor on an outdoor terrace on the fourth floor. The pool itself stretches 121 feet in length and has an infinity edge that overlooks the water's edge. As soon as you arrive at the Splash Terrace, hotel staff will greet you and set you up with a chaise lounge chair and towels so you'll either be seated under an umbrella or in the sun, and will even bring you a glass of cold water should you get parched. The staff will also provide you with sunscreen or goggles if you've forgotten to pack pool supplies. If you're with the kids, the staff also has kickboards and inflatable tubes for them to play with in the water. If you’d like some reading material, check out the stock of Four Seasons magazines available for you to peruse. And best of all, when the weather is sizzling outside, as it can easily be in Baltimore, the staff comes around every so often with little treats like frozen grapes to help you stay cool. If you’re looking to warm up, though, take a dip in the bubble whirlpool, located on the Harbor Terrace, just one flight up, and across the way from the 3-inch deep reflecting pool. Also on that level, you’ll find cabanas, which can be rented and come with complimentary fruit and non-alcoholic beverages, a television, a refrigerator and two chaise lounge chairs. And after spending the morning at the pool, you can enjoy lunch at Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore's Splash Bar & Grill, which serves up family favorites like burgers, hot dogs and fish tacos plus a selection of frozen cocktails.
