China World Summit Wing, Beijing offers you excellent rooms at many different price points, though if money is no object, then we’d recommend reserving one of the specialty suites, which we think are the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel’s best. The top of the line, naturally, is the Presidential Suite, which comes with a tastefully appointed, separate sitting room, master bedroom and master bathroom as well as a dining room for entertaining. With views that look out over the Forbidden City, the room offers you more than 3,000 square feet, and an additional bedroom can be connected to make a two-bedroom suite. You’ll also get top-of-the line amenities like Bulgari bath products and 800-thread-count bed linens. One notch down from that is the Summit Suite at about 2,600 square feet. It includes all the same amenities as the Presidential Suite, such as the daily breakfast and full butler service, and still has separated work and dining areas, but it offers slightly less space and views over Chang’an Avenue instead of the Forbidden City.
If you don’t need a suite and are content with the standard Executive or Premier guest rooms, we’d recommend requesting a room on the highest floor available and one that faces west, so you can see the Forbidden City. Yet the great thing about China World Summit Wing is that no matter what room you’re chosen, you’re still bound to have some of the best views in Beijing.
