China World Summit Wing, Beijing has several restaurants available, although unless you’ve got some truly adventurous eaters on your hands, we recommend that families with children head to The Lounge to dine. Located on the top floor of the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel, this salon eatery offers a kids' menu (the same one offered for room service) with choices like vegetable chips with a mango and passion fruit smoothie; a Catalan salad and a ham and cheese bagel; macaroni and cheese with creamy cheddar; wok-fried beef with ginger and jasmine rice; fish and chips with tartar sauce; roasted chicken breast; and spaghetti Bolognese. The other restaurants at the hotel, including Grill 79, Fook Lam Moon and Nadaman are decidedly more upscale. If your kids are of the gourmand mindset, you might consider taking them to Nadaman for lunch where they can find kids' specials like a “junior steak set” and “junior sushi set” which come artfully prepared along with a savory egg custard, soup, salad and ice cream.
