The guest rooms at the Kerry Hotel, Beijing are spacious and contemporary, integrating nature patterns with a calming color scheme of slate, taupe, gray, mushroom and soft blues. White marble floors in the entry foyer extend to the bathroom floor just behind a sliding wood-paneled door. Smooth pale wood paneling also is used for the double closets in the entryway and wall behind the 40-inch LED television. The sleek floating desk is topped with gray leather, matched by an adjustable beige desk chair, while the standing mini-bar cabinet is topped with gray marble. Against a wall of windows is a long cushioned lounger upholstered in soft gray fabric, with floral-patterned throw pillows and a glass-top side table in accompaniment. Nature prints add visual interest throughout the room, such as the silver leaf-patterned backdrop for the bed and the large green bamboo print above the fabric baggage bench. Chrome plating and contemporary floating lamps are sleek and modern, while the plush patterned blue carpeting is reminiscent of Chinese ink stroke paintings and softens the design of the room.
