The guest rooms at The Ritz-Carlton, Beijing have the old school charm that we have come to expect from The Ritz-Carlton brand, and are decorated in a traditional style. Flower-patterned wallpaper adorns the walls, which are sectioned off with thick moldings that give the room a very rich and luxurious feeling. A comfortable bed sits in the center of the room, and the seating areas — that can be used for reading, watching TV or enjoying some room service — include two chairs upholstered in a light green silk pattern with a heavy Asian influence in the stitch work. The rooms are very spacious with plenty of area to move around. There are two generous closets located in the short hallway off of the entrance to the room, as well as ample drawer space for personal items.
