Because Club Oasis isn’t as much a full-service spa as it is Grand Hyatt Beijing’s total swimming and fitness complex, you won’t find the standard spa refreshments in the locker rooms and relaxation areas. You will, of course, find water throughout — both bottled and from water fountains — and should you desire a small nibble, take note of the bowl of apples that greets you at the reception desk. And if you do crave something more, you can order light bites to enjoy poolside. These snacks range from Western favorites like a grilled vegetable panini to Asian specialties like stir-fried noodles. It’s not a huge selection, but if you work up a real appetite following a soak in the hot tub, we’d suggest heading upstairs to Grand Hyatt’s excellent Chinese restaurant, Made In China (don’t miss the cold pressed tofu salad or the beggar’s chicken).
