Although it may not be as expansive as the Boston Harbor (pronounced “huhbuh” locally), Four Seasons Hotel Boston’s pool offers you just about anything you could imagine needing. If you forget your swimsuit, you can buy one or opt for a disposable version for a lesser fee, both offered by the Five-Star hotel. In the pool locker room you’ll find robes, slippers, showers, a steamroom and sauna. There are, of course, plenty of towels for use, as well as inner-tubes and floating devices. You can order eats in the pool area from a special menu consisting of the most popular room service menu items, including a club salad, chicken fingers and fries, hamburgers, lobster rolls and fruit plates, and eat at one of the tables or lounge chairs on the pool deck. Fresh fruit and water are available for your refreshment from the gym (located directly behind the pool). There’s a small whirlpool next to the pool, too. Parents will be delighted to know that your kids can hang poolside with the babysitting service, if they want. There are no adult-only swim times, so the pool is open to all ages during pool hours of 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The spa includes an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool, steam rooms and saunas, plus lockers, towels, pool toys, swim diapers, goggles, swim caps and water wings. Bathing suits are also available for purchase. Flavored spring water, newspapers, fresh fruit, coffee and tea are offered complimentary in the pool area from 6 to 10 a.m. daily.
