What five words would you use to describe the style of XV Beacon?

Answers from Our Experts (2)

XV Beacon beautifully blends both old and new. The luxurious and modern boutique hotel is housed in a turn-of-the-century Beaux Arts building complete with limestone band, mosaic tiles and Roman brick. Its multi-million dollar contemporary art and antique collection is dazzling, and the bold and stylish décor makes the 19th century building current again. Animal prints and leather furniture are juxtaposed with preserved iron-cage elevators and antique vases. The hotel is located in the heart of Boston but only has 63 rooms (only seven per floor) so the feel is homey, but with all the conveniences of a modern hotel. All that said, the five words we’d use to describe the style at XV Beacon would be modern, rich, friendly, cozy and classy.
