Mooo offers wine pairings upon request and on our prix fixe menus on Sunday and Monday nights.
If matching wine with your oyster appetizer and steak dinner isn’t your forte, the waitstaff at Mooo will be happy to help you out. Wine pairings are done tableside and are organized individually based on your order. On special nights Mooo also hosts wine dinners that feature a particular vineyard, and see vintners from all over come to the meal to explain the wines. Chef Luna also attends these dinners to talk to guests about how he paired specific dishes with the various wines. The week we dined at Mooo, the restaurant was preparing for its Paul Goerg five-course champagne dinner. The dinner featured a roster of different champagnes (a brut rose, brut blan de blancs, 2002 vintage brut and a “Cuvee Lady” brut) that were paired with various dishes, including stuffed sole, veal sweetbreads, Vermont quail and a dessert. The dinners are typically $150 per person and do not include gratuity.
