You'll never be without something to do in Boston on the weekends. The city shines on Saturdays and Sundays, thanks in most part to its vast cultural and arts scene. The first weekend in March marks the unofficial start of spring in Boston. With St. Patrick's Day only a few weeks away, Bostonians kick off March in a big way: the city starts to awaken from the winter slumber and looks ahead to spring fun.
Take a walk through the Boston Common and Boston Gardens, check out some of your favorite restaurants for the last chance to taste their winter menus, and visit the museums (many of exhibitions end March 31). Tickets for events are available online and you can always check out the TKTS booths in Copley Square and Faneuil Hall for day-of discount tickets to the shows in the Theater District.
