The Chatham Squire and Delmar Bistro are popular bars in Chatham, just three miles from Wequassett Resort and Golf Club.
While you won’t find any clubs right near Wequassett Resort and Golf Club (the closest ones are in Provincetown, about an hour drive from the resort), you will find plenty of places to belly up to the bar for a cold brew on a hot summer day.
Along Main Street in Chatham is the Wild Goose Tavern, located at the Chatham Wayside Inn. The bar and tavern serves traditional New England bites, as well as brews on tap, and it offers great views of Main Street for people-watching. Also nearby is the Sacred Cod Tavern at the Chatham Bars Inn, another New England-style bar with a rustic edge that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. You can enjoy cocktails and appetizers at the old-style bar, or grab a table and enjoy the views of Chatham while dining on the catch of the day from Chatham Pier.
We also love to spend the evening hanging back at Thoreau’s at Wequassett Resort and Golf Club. There, you can enjoy some great cocktails and views of Pleasant Bay, and if you’re staying at the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star resort, simply walk back to your room at the end of the night.
