77 Rooms / 68 Suites

There really isn’t any place in Idaho quite like Shore Lodge. Nestled alongside Payette Lake, tucked nearly a mile high in the Northern Rockies, offering elegant meals and accommodations, astounding views and easy access to a plethora of year-round mountain sports, the place is pretty special. It truly is, as the property’s tagline says, “An authentic Idaho mountain retreat.”

The McCall lodge is the only hotel on the banks of Payette Lake and includes The Cove spa and The Narrows, a fine-dining restaurant in the small mountain town’s most romantic setting. Shore Lodge offers 77 rooms with garden or lake views and the recently remodeled rooms and suites are rustic, yet contemporary and spacious — like the lodge itself.
Shore Lodge has a classic mountain look with lots of exposed wooden beams and a moose bust mounted above a stone fireplace in the lobby. But the lodge still offers the clean lines and slick styling of a big city hotel, which is why it’s so popular with folks from Boise.

Originally built in 1948, the Scott family purchased the lodge in 2008 — after it spent a few years as a private club — and have done nothing but improve the property and its amenities, much to the delight of the lodge’s legion of longtime fans.

It’s the attention to detail that really makes Shore Lodge shine. From the moment you enter the property and are greeted by a friendly valet, everything is taken care of properly. Whether you want an active day on the water, the slopes, the fairways or the trails, or you just simply want to relax with a great day at the spa and a sumptuous meal, Shore Lodge makes it happen. Every detail from lush robes and breakfast served in bed, to warm cookies placed bedside as part of the nightly turndown service, is done right.
