We like the Park View King rooms at Park Hyatt Chicago. These are a nice value at the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Chicago hotel. They often include breakfast — be sure to check the website or ask the staff when making a reservation — and it would be a shame not to have a view given the hotel’s ideal location on Michigan Avenue with views of the lake beyond. These rooms offer plenty of space for two people and include a large desk area, comfortable window seat, and a comfortable black leather Eames chair with matching ottoman. Bathrooms have panels that open up to the room and entryways are long and spacious, lending a residential feel. We also liked the Park Suite at the Chicago luxury hotel, which includes a living and dining area, kitchenette and guest bath.
