With the onsite NoMI Kitchen, Park Hyatt Chicago offers plenty of tasty things to eat and drink. Here are a few things we have enjoyed while visiting the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star hotel:
1. Sushi. NoMI Kitchen is known for its sushi. We love the NoMI roll with spicy tuna, eel, cucumber and sansho. Other rolls include vegetable, salmon and yellowtail along with a variety of sashimi.
2. Any of the specialty cocktails. We liked the Part & Parcel with Tito's vodka, lime, grapefruit and St. Germain; and the Blubbery Cobbler with Junipero gin, fresh blueberries, Lillet and angostura bitters.
3. The breakfast menu at NoMI features tasty options, including their version of eggs Benedict with rocket, applewood smoked Nueske’s ham and a citrus hollandaise. If you want to keep it simple, however, we like the continental breakfast bar. It’s well stocked with a variety of foods including jars of yogurt with fresh fruit, meats, cheeses and fresh pastries.
4. With its location overlooking Michigan Avenue, NoMI Lounge is the perfect place to relax after a day of shopping. If you’re in town during the holidays, be sure to check out the hot chocolate bar, where you can load your rich warm drink with marshmallows, candies and syrups.
