Fuel up on food at weekend brunch during you stay at The Peninsula Chicago. The Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel offers its Sunday brunch service from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in The Lobby, an open and inviting space on the Chicago hotel’s main floor. You’ll find various food stations dot the area, from omelets to cheeses to pastries. Kids can choose from a slew of foods like sandwiches and pizzas. Switch things up a bit and try the hotel’s famous “Chocolate at The Pen” experience — offered every Friday and Saturday evening. The mouth-watering spread features truffles, cookies, tiramisu and chocolate mousse along with coffee for $40 (and $20 for kids under 12) or $50 to include a tasty chocolate martini or glass or sparkling wine. But remember, reservations for the chocolate feast are a must.
