The Peninsula Chicago is within walking distance of a plethora of bars and clubs. The social scene in the River North neighborhood of Chicago is vibrant and attracts people of all ages.
The Kerryman, an Irish pub at Clark and Erie, has two bars; the one upstairs is where the dancing happens. With tables on both floors, as well as outside, The Kerryman can be as low key as you’d like. There are televisions at both bars so you don’t have to miss the big game. It offers a great selection of beers on draft as well as in bottles.
For a fun night out, ladies can head to Pops for Champagne while gentlemen can opt for the Watershed. Owned by the same people, these bars feature very different menus. The street-level Pops for Champagne focuses on champagne cocktails and bubbly. Watershed is underneath Pops and serves up local beer and spirits. These bars are located at State and Ohio in River North.
There are plenty of places throughout River North. State Street is a popular area for bars and clubs as is Kinzie Street. You won’t have any problem finding nightlife near the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel.
