What is the nearest golf course to Trump Chicago?

Smack-dab in downtown Chicago, Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago doesn’t have its own golf course. However, there are a few public courses in the city. About 4.5 miles north of the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel is the par-36 Sydney R. Marovitz course. Sitting along Lake Michigan, it offers incredible views from every hole and is said to be one of the Chicago Park District’s more challenging courses. One round of nine holes costs $24 during the week and $27 on the weekend. If you want to leave the clubs at home, rental equipment is available at the course, too.
If you’re willing to hop in a cab or drive outside of the city, you’ll have more options. There’s Beverly Country Club on the South Side of Chicago (15 miles south), Cog Hill in Lemont (29 miles southwest) and Medinah Country Club in Medinah (27 miles northwest). Should you wish to hit the links during your stay at the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Chicago hotel, call down to the concierge to make tee time and transportation arrangements.

While there is not golf available on property at Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago, there are a handful of public courses in the city and a great variety of private courses in the surrounding area. The closest course is the beautiful nine-hole Sydney R. Marovitz course, right along Lake Michigan. This course is one of the more difficult ones in the city but offers spectacular views from every hole. To the east is Lake Michigan and to the south is the towering and impressive city skyline. This particular course costs $23 for nine holes during the week and $26 on the weekend. There are also rental opportunities, as well, for those traveling without their own clubs.

Should guests look to venture out of the edge of the city and beyond they will find excellent golf opportunities available to them. Clubs like Cog Hill in Lemont, Ill. and Beverly Country Club in Chicago are available for guests to enjoy. Most notably, however, is the Medinah Country Club. It is a historic Chicago course that will be the golf epicenter for the 2012 Ryder Cup. Arrangements should be made in advance and our excellent concierge staff is more than happy to assist in making them for guests.
