Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago’s location is one of its very best features and that location is enhanced by its easy accessibility to public transportation. Chicago’s famous train is commonly referred to as “the El,” as in elevated train. While some of the trains in Chicago act as subways underground, a majority of the trains can be seen cruising along above pedestrians on the street. The city’s Red Line runs right by Trump Chicago, with the closest stop being at the intersection of Grand and State streets. Should riders need another line, they are not far from the State and Lake streets stop in the city’s business district, known as the Loop. This station services nearly every line in the city and provides easy access to the airports.
Should a guest prefer the bus, their options are endless. Immediately outside the hotel’s doorsteps a plethora of routes run in every direction. Routes up and down Michigan Avenue service a great deal of the city and make for an easy commute to and from the hotel.
Another wonderful option to the hotel is the city’s water taxi service that runs along the Chicago River. With a stop at the hotel’s own dock at the foot of the building, it is far and away the easiest option to guests. While the taxi only has a handful of stops, guests breeze by traffic on the streets alongside it. The water taxi is the perfect option for guests traveling to the suburbs, with a stop at Union Station.
