- The Waldorf is easily one of the most fashionable hotels in the city. Designed by famed architect Lucien Lagrange, the hotel has a grand Parisian feeling and scale that starts at the old-fashioned motor court.
- The dazzling Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star spa inside the luxury Chicago hotel draws both locals and guests looking to escape the urban jungle with treatments such as an Ashiatsu massage and a sound bath facial.
- The Waldorf is located in the heart of Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood, within walking distance of lots of shopping and restaurants. The city’s designer-lined Oak Street is right outside the door.
- The building's design showcases the classic architectural style of European buildings from the 1920s and 1930s. A European-style courtyard provides a private area for guests to arrive and offers a welcome sense of separation from the busy streets. Additionally, the courtyard features a charming European-style fountain.

Things to Know
- You won’t find a doorman or bellhop at the check-in desk. The luxury hotel eschews the traditional welcoming system and instead employs a jack-of-all-trades staff, which means any staff member might help you with any certain type of request.
- Guests have a complimentary BMW 750i series at their disposal for drop-off within a one-mile radius, complete with massaging seats in both the front and back and ambient interior lighting.

The Rooms

- Cozy bedrooms are equipped with large beds adorned with pristine Frette linens, white lacquer dressers that offer plenty of drawer space, 55-inch flat-screen TVs and two black end tables featuring ample drawers and shelves.
- Each guest room comes with digital temperature control systems and electronically controlled fireplaces. Additionally, electronic "Do Not Disturb" and "Make Up Room" buttons eliminate the need for door tags and interruptions from housekeeping staff.
The Restaurants
- Come to Brass Tack for elevated, American brasserie fare. The restaurant sources its ingredients from local farms, giving the dishes a Midwestern taste. Be sure to visit Brass Tack for its everlasting rosé during weekend brunch.
- Bernard’s is a landmark cocktail lounge with an aesthetic inspired by the men in Coco Chanel’s life. Exceptionally crafted cocktails, such as the No. 5 – Ketel One citron, yuzu, jasmine tea, butterfly pea syrup, oleo saccorum and rose water – pair well with the warm, handsome space.
