What are the best rooms to stay in at Waldorf Astoria Chicago?

The nice thing about Waldorf Astoria Chicago is that all the rooms are pretty fabulous. They’re all spacious and share the same clean modern look. Since the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star hotel has amazing views, we do recommend booking a room in a high floor. Ask for one facing east if you want to see views the lake. Rooms have large terraces that let you take in the city from above. We were upgraded to a Gold Coast suite on our last visit and loved it. The one-bedroom suite includes a huge living area with a velvet couch and plush armchairs in the front of the fireplace; a dining table, large work desk, wet bar and half bath. The terrace was also very spacious and featured sweeping city views. We also loved how the living area was far removed from the front door and bedroom through long hallways. The passage connecting the bedroom to the living area included the closet area — and two handsome wood closets with a vanity in the middle. This faced the bathroom so you could shower and dress in this one area. The spa-like bathrooms are heavenly and the bedroom was cozy and comfortable.

The Premier Gold Coast Suites and Gold Coast Suites offer premium views of the elegant Gold Coast neighborhood. Their terraces not only extend your living space, but they bring you even closer to the vitality surrounding the hotel.
