Check out Bernard’s Bar, the bar at Waldorf Astoria Chicago, for a chic, clubby atmosphere and excellent artisanal drinks. The bar makes its own ginger ale and tonics and if you’re looking for a signature drink, you’ll find a few inside the wingtip-styled drink menu. We like The Aviation, a unique mixture of gin, luxardo, crème de violette and lemon that’s as smooth as the bar top’s rich wood. If liquor isn’t your vice, you can always try one of the craft beer offerings, such as Stiegl Pils from Austria or Saison Dupont from Belgium. You’ll also be able to choose from a selection of fine champagnes, single-malts and grappas.
