While sake may go better with your meal at Shanghai Terrace, there are certainly a few special and rare bottles of wine to choose from, courtesy of The Peninsula Chicago’s wine collection. If you are looking for a smooth red, we suggest a bottle of R. Lopez de Heredia Vina Tondonia Gran Reserva from 1976. The collection also includes this same wine from 1964, 1968, 1981, 1985 and 1987. If that’s not enough, try the 1970 Bosconia Gran Reserva from the same vineyard. If you are looking for a champagne, celebrate with a bottle of 1985 Krug Brüt. The sommelier, Jamie Kluz, can help you choose the perfect bottle to accompany your dinner at this Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star restaurant.
