Does The Peninsula Spa Chicago offer massages and other treatments for children?

Answers from Our Experts (2)

The Peninsula Spa Chicago is an urban oasis of Asian-inspired treatments and soothing amenities and as such, there are some restrictions for children. To keep this serene environment for the other guests, the Four-Star spa’s policy is that the minimum age for access to treatments and the spa is 18. However, the kids are not completely left out of the luxury: Anyone 16 and older can receive a facial and all kids, no matter the age, can receive nail services. Kids under 18 can receive massages as long as an adult is with them in the treatment room. Kids can also splash around the huge swimming pool right underneath the spa while parents enjoy the floor-to-ceiling windows offering a great Chicago vista. An adult must accompany a child younger than 16 at the swimming pool.

Guests who are 16 years or older may visit The Peninsula Spa Chicago for facials. There is no minimum age for nail services, but we do ask that kids under the age of 13 be accompanied by an adult for nail services. Children under 18 may have massages but a parent or guardian must be present in the room during the service.
