Inn Walden’s design style is a mix of modern country (fireplaces, floor-to-ceiling windows that look out onto pastoral lands) and European elegance (Frette bedding, Brunschwig & Fils fabrics and floral draperies, Clarence House wallpapers, Donghia textiles and tables) with up-to-date touches (complimentary Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs).
The Ohio inn also has a relaxed style, most noticeable in its suites and spa. Inside the suites, enjoy separate living spaces with rocking chairs and fireplaces, and in the spa, private suites that include steam showers, whirlpool tubs and seating areas next to windows where you can unwind before or after your treatment. Most all spaces at the inn include some sort of natural element, such as oversized windows and glassed-in walkways that peek out onto meadows, gardens or fountains. The inn’s building construction also used natural materials, such as cedar and slate that go well with a palette of earth tones (tans and cooling blues) on the walls. You will also notice museum-quality paintings and pottery inside the suites and lining the inn’s hallways and public spaces.
