When you join in activities at The Broadmoor, most of them are complimentary. Access to the pools, fitness club and movie theater are free, as is the occasional happening — for example, mixed-doubles round-robins at the Tennis Club in high season or holiday-weekend festivities. But the Five-Star hotel does charge fees for the use of its golf courses, tennis courts and spa, as well as for group-exercise classes in the gym and other various and sundry activities. Of course, the prices vary as widely as the recreational options themselves; a one-hour tennis drill, for instance, will run you a mere $25, while a full round of golf hits three figures. Treatments at the spa also vary; a spa manicure goes for $80, a signature massage starts at $150 and a premium facial is $225. So whether you want to take advantage of the freebies or treat yourself to something indulgent, you’ll find plenty of activities at the luxury hotel.
Enjoyment of the pools and fitness center are free to guests and members. The cost of activities varies. For example, spa treatment prices depend on the treatments themselves. Paddleboat rental is $8 for 30 minutes and $15 for an hour. Off-site prices range from no charge to hourly fees for things like horseback riding, fly fishing, hot air ballooning and theater. Concierge supplies a complete list of activities and pricing, as well as booking.
