The Broadmoor's six courts host several annual tennis events. The Rally for the Cure Tennis Weekend in June benefits the Susan G. Komen Foundation, devoted to breast-cancer research; it’s a two-day extravaganza for the ladies, including round-robins, doubles tournaments and a cocktail soir?e. October brings the signature Invitational Tennis Weekend, featuring a full schedule of exhibition doubles matches, cocktail receptions and a silent auction to benefit the Pikes Peak Community Tennis Association. Also in October, the annual Wine Tasting, Culinary & Tennis Camp ensures that you burn off what you take in during the cooking demos, chef’s tables and so on over the course of three days.
Two main tennis events are held annually at The Broadmoor. The Rally for the Cure is a 72-player tournament, luncheon and cocktail party held every June to benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure. This is the largest Rally for the Cure event in the country. The Broadmoor Invitational is a doubles tournament including a “wood racquet” division and cocktail party held each fall. The proceeds from the auction go to the youth tennis programs of the Pikes Peak Community Tennis Association.
