Even if traditional tennis whites are a thing of the past, common sense isn’t; proper attire is required to hit the courts at the Broadmoor, one of Colorado’s Five-Star hotels. Street wear (including denim) is forbidden on the courts, as is swimwear. You must wear proper tennis shoes, so leave the dark-soled, running or hiking footwear in your suitcase, since they may cause injury. If you forgot your sneaks, shoe rentals are available for $6 per day. And if you misplaced your brand-new tennis dress or simply want to sport some new athletic wear on the courts, other apparel can be purchased at the full-service Tennis Pro Shop inside the club.
Proper tennis attire of any color is suggested and shirts and proper tennis shoes are required at all times. Dark-soled running or hiking shoes are not allowed and may cause injury. Bathing attire, jeans, sports bras for women, tank tops for men, sandals and other non-tennis dress is not appropriate.
