What tennis activities are offered at The Broadmoor?

Whether you’re a newbie to the sport or an expert player, the Broadmoor serves a slew of tennis activities for all skill levels. If you’re up for a mixed-doubles round-robin or an arranged match, sign up at the Tennis Pro Shop from anywhere between a day to a week in advance, depending on the season. Need more practice before joining a match? An array of drill clinics (most are seasonal; one is year round) is tailored toward specific goals: Stroke of the Day focuses on a single skill; seasoned players can try their hands at fast-paced, advanced exercises; and kids can cover the basics with age-appropriate equipment. Semi-private and private lessons for adults and kids provide more personalized instruction, while three-day camps, held regularly throughout the year, offer everything from arranged matches to video analysis. However, these activities are popular, so advanced reservations are required for all sessions; call the Tennis Pro Shop directly to snag your spot.

During the summer months, we offer four consecutive hours of adult drills starting at 8 a.m. and ending at noon. These drills provide a 4-to-1 student/pro ratio and are designed to increase in intensity and ability level as the morning progresses. The drills are $25 per person, per hour and are appropriate for levels 2.5 to 5.0. Complimentary round-robins are conducted on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings during the summer months. The Monday and Friday sessions are for adults, the Wednesday session is designed for families. Private instruction, three-day tennis camps, corporate tennis tournaments and junior drills are also available.
