What are the bathrooms like in the rooms at The Broadmoor?

Answers from Our Experts (2)

Whether fully enclosed or adjoining the bedroom via shuttered peek-a-boo window frames, most bathrooms at The Broadmoor are streamlined in modern style, and outfitted with deep-soaking tubs, separate showers, private water closets, and marble-topped vanities lined with double basins, as well as the standard array of tools and toiletries: adjustable lighted mirrors, hairdryers and Broadmoor Signature bath products. Floor scales and often wall-mounted or in-mirror TVs give guests something to look at (like it or not) while washing and brushing; phones are also installed.

With the recent expansion of Broadmoor West that included the addition of five-fixture bathrooms in all rooms and suites, a few four-fixture bathrooms remain the exception to this Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel’s five-fixture rule; those who object to combination shower-tubs should clarify as much upon booking.

Most bathrooms in the rooms and suites are five-fixture with double basins and marble counters, separate baths, showers and enclosed water closets. Lighted make-up mirrors, hair dryers and scales are standard. The rooms have large soaking tubs and there are a limited number of rooms with claw-foot tubs. Bathrooms in our superior category rooms and suites have built-in small screen televisions. Premier category rooms have in-mirror TVs. Bathrooms have wall phones.
