Though The Mansion Restaurant has been in business for 30 years, it recently received a facelift that made the classic Dallas dining room a hot spot once again. Now a juxtaposition of contemporary furnishings and classic architecture, the restaurant’s honey-colored walls and lithe dark wood tables provide a warm atmosphere to savor the chef creative cuisine. Start with sliced Iberico ham with tomato crostini or vanilla-scented Hudson Valley foie gras with apples three ways, followed by a main course of coffee and chili-rubbed rib-eye with tempura onion rings or slow roasted char, purple potato puree, poblano oil with cilantro and green apple salad.
