Getting to Gateway Canyons Resort, located in the picturesque Unaweep Canyon in Western Colorado, from the airport is simple. If you’re flying into the area, the Grand Junction Regional airport will be your closest hub; you’ll have about an hour-and-12-minute drive ahead of you. Airlines serving Grand Junction Regional include American Airlines, United Express, Delta, US Airways and Allegiant. Once there, you can access Gateway Canyons Resort via helicopter through Gateway Canyons Airtours, or opt for a lift in one of the resort’s luxury cars.

Fly into Denver International Airport, and you’ll have a longer journey, but will most likely be able to avoid connecting flights. It takes about four hours and 45 minutes to get to Gateway Canyons Resort from the Denver airport. Whether you come from Grand Junction or Denver, you’ll have a gorgeous 44-minute journey through the canyon on Highway 141 South. Shuttle service is available from these airports (and Montrose Regional Airport about an hour and a half away, as well as Eagle County Regional Airport about two hours and a half away). Want to take on the scenic drive yourself? Rent a car at any of the airports and plug Gateway Canyons Resort’s address — 43200 Highway 141, Gateway, CO 81522 — into your GPS.
