Though there’s no particular time better than any other to visit The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou, there are a few things to consider when planning a trip. For starters, it never gets cold in Guangzhou, but summers are hot and humid. Winter highs hover in the mid-60s, though it can get chillier at night. Late spring and summer can be very rainy. For all-around comfort, autumn is the best. Also keep in the mind the fact that during the Lunar New Year period (usually in late January or early February), the airports and train stations are very crowded with people traveling to visit their families. Many smaller local businesses will be closed, too. Then again, it's also a fantastic time to experience the traditional Chinese New Year like a local; you can see lion dances, peruse holiday markets, watch the celebratory fireworks and try top-notch food.
