Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou at West Lake has two dining options — Chinese restaurant Jin Sha, and Western and Asian restaurant West Lake Bistro. Both are located on the ground floor and have indoor and outdoor seating. Jin Sha also has 11 private stand-alone dining rooms, each of which comes with a terrace. Two of the private dining rooms have their own kitchens. Jin Sha turns out Hangzhounese, Cantonese and Shanghainese cuisine, utilizing local ingredients like farm-fresh free-range chickens and produce from nearby farmers. A must-try dish is the sweet and tender honey barbecue pork. West Lake Bistro is the more family-friendly restaurant, with its kids’ menu featuring dishes like sweet and sour chicken with broccoli and pasta with tomato sauce or Bolognese. WLB is also where you can enjoy a bountiful breakfast spread, with à la carte items like a dainty vegetable frittata available for order.
While not a restaurant per se, the Hangzhou hotel’s Lobby Lounge serves traditional afternoon tea. Nosh on pastries and more while sipping longjing tea, which is native to the area.
