Kowloon Shangri-La boasts 688 rooms, meaning you’ll have plenty of options when booking, though for the ultimate in indulgence, you’ll want to stay in one of the luxury suites, the hotel’s best rooms. In addition to offering more space and top-of-the-line amenities, guests staying in the various suites have access to the exclusive Horizon Club privileges which include a complimentary buffet breakfast and evening cocktails and wines, plus use of the Horizon Club lounge. The Presidential Suite is clearly the best of the bunch, with 2,400 square feet with separate living and dining areas and an Italian marble bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and an LCD in-mirror television. It also includes such bonuses as floor-to-ceiling bay windows of Victoria Harbour, a DVD entertainment system and an executive writing desk with ergonomic chair. The other suites offer mostly the same amenities, just in smaller spaces (about 880 square feet to 1450 square feet), though we’d actually recommend not going for the Executive Suite since it offers views of Kowloon and not Hong Kong Island. Rather, we’d opt for the Premier Harbour View Suite, which offers the stunning views, space and lap of luxury that make traveling so worthwhile. As far as the regular rooms go, we recommend booking the Deluxe Harbour view room for the spectacular vistas.
