While definitely better for beverages than snacks, you’ll encounter a range of nibbles and tipples in the mini-bar at Kowloon Shangri-La. Among the mini bottles of spirits in the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star hotel's mini-bar, you can pour yourself a Gordon’s, Smirnoff, Courvoisier, Jack Daniels or Johnny Walker Black Label, though if you prefer grape to grain, there are also half bottles of red and white wine, plus Carlsberg, Tsingtao and Heineken beers. Among the soft drinks and mixers are all the classics: Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Sprite, Evian, tonic water, club soda, Gatorade and a full selection of juices. If you’re looking for a snack, you can open up the plain-flavored Pringles, Oreos, tinned peanuts or almonds, or unwrap the Toblerone or granola bar found inside the fridge. Otherwise, Déli Kool on the Mezzanine level sells fresh breads, pastries, chocolates and other gourmet items. Note that there’s a 7-Eleven located next to the hotel where you can pick up additional provisions. Keep in mind, too, that Hong Kong is a 24-hour city filled with shops and restaurants; should you need something beyond the mini-bar, we guarantee you’ll find it just steps from the hotel.
