Whether you’ve come from a soak in the indoor hot tub or you just finished working up a sweat on an elliptical or rowing machine in the gym, you can freshen up in the fully equipped locker room located next to the swimming pool in the lower level Health Club complex at Kowloon Shangri-La. A desk attendant at the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star hotel's gym will provide you with a key for the light wood locker where you can store your clothing while you relax in the steam room or sauna, also located inside the locker room. Or simply lather up in one of the two showers before hitting the vanity to dry and style your hair — you’ll find a range of toiletries from hair gel to deodorant for sprucing up. And if you’d like to unwind a bit before heading back into the bustle of Hong Kong, you can grab a quick catnap on one of the four brown leather lounge chairs provided at the end of the locker room. There you’ll also find a large selection of English- and Chinese-language magazines and newspaper, from Runway and Elle to Time and The South China Morning Post. At Kowloon Shangri-La, the locker room is really like a miniature spa that’s free to use during your stay (massages and reflexology, of course, are an added cost).
