How you reach The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong depends on what level of style you prefer to travel in. The Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel has an airport concierge, who is posted at the airport to greet guests staying in the hotel’s L600 series rooms or suites. If you arrive at Hong Kong’s gate 25 or higher (which can be a haul to immigration and baggage claim), the concierge will meet you there with a golf cart to whisk you straight to immigration, help you with your luggage and then deliver you to your pre-arranged limo or town car. If you prefer a more subdued arrival, hop on the Airport Express train, an ultra-modern and efficient train with stations inside Hong Kong airport and conveniently, within a five-minute walk of the hotel. A taxi from the airport is affordable, at around HK$290 (US$38) and takes about 40 minutes.
