What is the cancellation policy at The Upper House?

If you have to cancel your reservation at The Upper House, you should give the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Hong Kong hotel as much notice as possible to avoid a fee. You have until 4 p.m. on the day prior to arrival, essentially 24 hours until your designated check-in time, to cancel without being issued a penalty charge. But if you cancel less than 24 hours before your expected check-in, or you just don’t show up at all, you will be charged the cost of one night’s stay for the room type you booked.

Hopefully a cancellation is not in the works, because we’d hate for you to miss out on The Upper House. Its interior design is the work of acclaimed and cutting-edge designer Andre Fu, who uses natural materials and unorthodox layouts to create a chic yet serene layout. The hotel also features original works by Asian artists, including a 10-story sculpture incorporating water created by Hiroshiwata Sawada. And each room features a sculpture carved out of wood-grain sandstone, the work of artist Marvin Mintofang.
