The service at Man Wah is welcoming and professional. From the start, staffers are accommodating and attentive. Any pre-dinner drinks and tab are seamlessly transferred from the neighboring M Bar to your table. After being seated, guests are offered an aperitif from the champagne trolley, a nice touch with a hint of nostalgic charm. Black-tuxedo-donning waiters are well versed on the menu’s signature dishes and enthusiastically suggest house specialties or traditional Cantonese fare. Classic noodle dishes are divided tableside, making sharing a cinch. And while there can be the occasional tableside hiccup — the evening we were there, for instance, a few dishes took slightly too long to clear — they’re quickly overshadowed by all the other things that the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star restaurant does so well.
