The Oriental Spa is spread over two floors and a gym at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong. The first floor of the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star spa consists of a closed-off and cozy reception and retail area, with a wall of computers and high chairs for hotel and spa guests to hop on and off between treatments or workouts.
After you check in for your treatment at the luxury spa, you’ll be directed up a wide, open staircase. Once in the waiting area, you’ll complete your personal history form. The space is filled with light wood and natural accents, including greenery. The bench-type chairs on the second floor are not particularly comfortable, but you’ll only be there long enough to sip a small cup of tea and wipe your face with a cold towel. From there, you’ll be ready to move on to the amenities at The Oriental Spa — the real reason you’ve come all this way.
