A designer’s delight, the skyscraper was conceived by Chicago’s Goettsch Partners while the hotel’s rich, sophisticated interior vision came courtesy of inventive Japanese firm Super Potato. Asymmetrically carved glass dominates the exterior while copper, wood and brick tell the story inside.
The Guangzhou hotel features a four-room spa that sparks renewal through a menu filled with treatments that pay homage to time-tested Chinese medicines while keeping an open mind on modern wellness approaches.
