Park Hyatt Zurich
Sleek luxury in central Zurich
VERIFIED LUXURY
Here are five things to know about us:
1. We verify luxury. Our highly trained inspectors visit every property we rate, evaluating based on up to 900 objective criteria. Our hotel stays span a minimum of two nights.
2. We pay our own way. No one can buy a rating; all ratings are earned through our objective inspection process.
3. Our global team of inspectors are anonymous at all times, so they have the same experience as a typical guest.
4. While we inspect both service and facility, our Star Rating system emphasizes service because your experience at a hotel, restaurant or spa goes beyond looks — how it makes you feel is what you will remember most.
5. We started in1958 as Mobil Travel Guide, and we created the original Five-Star rating system for hospitality.
Five-Star
These properties deliver an outstanding experience and consistently offer a highly customized level of service.
Four-Star

Park Hyatt Zurich is an immersion in taste and sophistication that reflects its tony city-center location — it is just steps from the prestigious Paradeplatz square, the chic boutique-laden Bahnhofstrasse and close to Lake Zurich.
Art and design are high priorities here. In the Lobby Lounge, soaring two-story ceilings and a massive custom-created mural by Sol LeWitt are balanced by intimate groups of sofas and chairs upholstered in soft leather and velvet. A great place for daytime meetings, casual lunches and afternoon tea, guests can also plug in computers to work remotely.
The adjacent Onyx Bar is a trendy spot named for the giant illuminated tiles that give the bar its other-worldly glow and provide a moody backdrop for sipping award-winning cocktails. And parkhuus restaurant, with its open kitchen centered on a wood-burning oven, sources ingredients locally and offers fresh takes on traditional Swiss dishes in a thrilling atmosphere.

- The restaurants and Onyx Bar are well designed and strike just the right tone for quick lunches, late-afternoon pit stops or exquisite dinners.
- Club Olympus Spa has a fitness center with Technogym equipment, a wellness area with a sauna and steam bath, plus a lengthy list of quality spa treatments.
Things to Know
- The Zurich hotel not only caters to leisure seekers but also to business travelers, offering a well-equipped business center, airport limos and same-day cleaning service, among others.
- A special design team assesses the appearance and art of the hotel on a yearly basis, making changes and rotating works to keep the look fresh and vibrant.
- The restaurants are far from run-of-the-mill and have special touches you might not expect from a chain brand. For instance, the Onyx Bar offers hand-rolled cigars, and a sophisticated afternoon tea with seasonal pastries is available daily in The Lounge from 2:30 to 6 p.m.
The Rooms
- Park Hyatt’s rooms are among the largest in the city. Tastefully decorated in warm tones and enveloping furnishings, guest rooms provide a quiet oasis from the bustle outside.
- Among the hotel’s 138 rooms, there are five categories that offer a wide variety of sizes — they range from 387.5 to 775 square feet and include junior and corner suites.
- Design elements, like upholstery in soft, subdued colors and textures, and dark-stained wood offer less variety between room categories and but exude sophisticated elegance.
- The Presidential Suite is a sprawling 1,937.5-square-foot apartment with an office, fireplace, kitchen and living/dining area. A spa-like marble bathroom includes a large soaking tub, rain shower and steam sauna.
The Restaurants
- The hotel’s signature parkhuus restaurant is an elegant spot with floor-to-ceiling windows and white tablecloths; it offers Swiss-inspired cuisine made with sustainable ingredients. Try dishes like hand-cut Swiss beefsteak tartare with caviar, Swiss Salmon and dry-aged chicken from the Swiss Alps.
- The parkhuus' robust wine cellar houses more than 600 bottles of wine and champagne from all over the world and includes a large selection of local varieties.
- The Lobby Lounge has a more casual menu, featuring burgers, steak sandwiches and lasagna. Café Z is a self-service deli-style spot good for grabbing a quick sandwich or croissant.
- The Onyx Bar, whose cocktails are a big draw, also offers classes where guests learn the history, ingredients and secrets to mixing a great drink.
