What are the locker rooms like at Spa One Ocean?

The fully equipped male and female locker rooms at Spa One Ocean are cozy spots where you can indulge in pre-massage bathing and soaking or simply freshen up once your facial is over. The Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star spa’s marine theme continues here, with blue-and-brown striped carpeting, beige marble counters, light wood lockers and sloped sinks reminiscent of shells. The lockers (which all have programmable locks) are stocked with robes and slippers and line the wall towards the back of the locker room. You can rinse off in one of the two blue-and-white glass tiled showers, which boast several shower heads including a rainfall head and Swiss jets that spurt water from every angle.

There’s also a steam shower in lieu of a traditional steam room, so if you’d like to sweat a bit before your massage, just flip the power switch outside of the shower and wait a few minutes for the shower to fill with steam. In the showers, you’ll also find large plastic dispensers of shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion, while shower caps and razors are located just across the way with the towels. There’s also a bubbling Jacuzzi soaking tub. It’s clothing-optional, but because the one in the women’s locker room directly fronts the glassed-in nail salon, we’d recommend bringing a bathing suit to the spa if you’re at all shy.

Following your treatment, you’ll find plenty of One Ocean-branded toiletries for freshening up, from lotion and deodorant to hair dryers and even curling irons. After spending some time in the locker room at the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star spa, you’ll be relaxed, invigorated and ready to spend some time outside frolicking in the real Atlantic Beach ocean.
